Andrea Milana, born in Gela (Italy) in 1978, he is
signed at S.I.A.E. since 1998 and in PRS since 2009
as author and composer.
Music and computer science are his experimentation field. He studied pianoforte and classic guitar, but also programming languages and electronic music, passing through every possible contamination between them.
For two years, the territory of these experimentations has been his own recording studio, Percezioni Digitali, opened in Gela in 2001. Afterwards he has worked for Edirol Direct Italia, a Roland's group society, in Milan (2004-2007). This job brought him a deeper knowledge of electronic music and computer science both, as website developer.
After Polymateric, his latest electronic music album, he recently moved to Malta, where he's actually working as director of Fantasy Works recording studio, in collaboration with Family Network TV.
His work leads the path from electronic sonorities to vintage ones, with some fusion influences. Main influences for him are: Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Jeff Lorber, Pat Metheny, Weather Reports, and the vintage sound of the '70s and '80s.
